Leonardo Coluccia was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1979, Leonardo is a versatile musician with a strong background in both classical guitar and choral conducting. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Juan José Castro Conservatory, specializing in these areas.
From 2009 to 2014, he led the Camerata Argentina de Guitarras, the ensemble to perform in renowned concert halls and capturing their artistry on the album “The City of a Thousand Strings.” This album features a unique transcription of Maurice Ravel’s “La Alborada del Gracioso” and a groundbreaking recording of Steve Reich’s “Electric Counterpoint” adapted for guitar ensembles.
Currently, Leonardo serves as the director of the Coro Polifónico de Vicente López, showcasing his ability to conduct a diverse repertoire spanning various musical genres and composers.
Since 2021, he has successfully established himself as a skilled music engraver and transcriber. With over 1,000 projects successfully completed for clients on the freelance marketplace, his expertise in this field is undeniable.
