Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and music director Jason Taylor is a native of Chicago, Illinois. His work spans across multiple genres. Jason has partnered and worked with some of the industry’s most influential people including Stevie Wonder, T-Pain, Lil Baby, Muni Long, Tye Tribbett, Mali Music, Ryan Leslie, Omarion, BJ The Chicago Kid, Coco Jones, Tichina Arnold, Eladio Carrion, 24kGoldn, Jermaine Jackson, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, many more and is apart of the music industry’s super production group, ‘1500 or Nothin’. He holds two degrees including a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Morehouse College and a Master Of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology. In 2016, Jason founded TaylorMade School of Music (a songwriting program combining elements of psychology and spirituality) and has traveled across the world with this program doing songwriting workshops for thousands
of young people. Jason has also been recognized by the California State Legislature for making history in writing, producing, and releasing the first Lupus Awareness song (Survivor L’s Up) which helped to raise money for lupus awareness campaigns across the state of California. His first official album release was entitled “The MultiVerse”, which has since received national and international acclaim. Jason has left an indelible mark on countless stages with his musical direction, arrangements, programming, and energetic musicianship such as NPR’s Tiny Desk, 2024’s Coachella, the 2023 Soul Train Music Awards and The American Music Awards. As a light and a force in the entertainment industry he continues making it his goal to provide hope and positivity to family, community and the world through music everyday.
